That’s the radical state of the Spring Summer collection from the stables of Shriya Som for 2019. Ruching, ruffles and raffia are the radical elements that enhance and merge to form classic layered Shriya Som silhouettes.

Easy breezy, stress free and non cluttered dressing up, to bring the free spirited woman to the fore. She has an unexplainable spark of life. She oozes freedom and seeks awareness in the colors of the sand, sea, stone and the flora that surrounds her. Soft peachy hues balance the rose quartz, orchid haze mixed with the serene blues. A rare soul with a fierce heart with feminine and masculine forms coming together in the patterns intermingled with curvilinear and angular motifs with pre pleated textures.

Raffia in florals and fringe add a whimsical twist to the aesthetics. Its embroidered, twisted, braided, knotted and dyed to create a creative conundrum. The Shriya Som woman belongs to nobody but herself yet gives a piece of who she is to the world around her. She does not need a raison d'être. She’s a free spirit.
